Mark Keen //
As an Organisation Development and Change Management specialist for over 20 years, I have worked as a consultant, academic and senior manager. I have facilitated and managed large scale change processes and evaluations in a wide range of sectors and institutional contexts.
Recent assignments have focused on understanding and enhancing the capability of different organisational forms to provide results within unpredictable environments. Clients include: bilateral aid agencies, such as the UK Government’s Department for International Development (DFID), Irish Aid and AusAid; Non-Governmental Organisations such as WaterAid, Christian Aid, the TUC, Oxfam, Trócaire and Plan International; multilateral bodies including the World Bank, World Food Programme and other UN funds and Agencies; and private foundations such as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Howard G. Buffett Foundation.
My consultancy work is varied and includes strategy formulation, organisational assessments and the facilitation of organisational restructuring processes; the evaluation of development programmes and multi-stakeholder institutional partnerships and co-ordination; and senior management coaching, mentoring and team development.
My approach is based on a belief that change happens most effectively when there is a shared understanding of central issues and a common commitment and buy-in to both the projected outcomes to be achieved and the processes required to get there.
