EIF M&E Systems and Capacity Development
Client // WTO & UNOPS
Country // Global
Date // 2009-2012
The Enhanced Integrated Framework (EIF) process was established by several multilateral institutions (including the WTO, IMF, ITC, UNCTAD, UNDP and World Bank) to help the integration of trade into the national development plans of least-developed countries, and to assist in the co-ordination and delivery of trade-related technical assistance in those countries.
We have been working with the EIF to develop capacities and systems for the monitoring and evaluation of the EIF process. We initially worked within 13 least developed countries and within the EIF’s Executive Secretariat, based in Geneva. Through a series of in-country workshops, we have been helping to establish robust yet simple M&E systems and monitoring frameworks that are strongly aligned with existing national and international structures, and require minimal additional resources for ongoing management and maintenance.
